Nikken Segbefia is the acting finance manager of Amaris Terminal Limited. Prior to assuming this role, he served in the capacity of Assistant Manager-Accounts with oversight responsibility for projects and procurement, as the acting finance manager he is responsible for the financial management and reporting of the company which includes but not limited to financial strategy formulation, taxation, systems implementation, valuation and business modeling as well as the day to day administration of the finance department. He has led and supervised the execution and completion of various notable projects on the terminal, among them are; reefer plugs construction, weigh bridge installation, the construction of import wall, installation transformer and 550KVA generator.
Prior to Amaris, he has over 10 years of work experience with PKF Accountants and business advisers as an Audit Senior serving in leading roles of audit engagements with responsibilities in Assurance, Taxation, advisory and financial services. His audit expertise cuts across several industries such as Ports & Harbours, Automotive & Transportation, Consumer Products & Retail, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Health, Media & Entertainment, Mining & Metals, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction, Technology, Telecommunications, Education, Non-Governmental Organizations and Agricultural Organizations. He is an implementer of first time adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and a private financial consultant.
Nikken is a Chartered Accountant and Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG). He holds a Master Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a certificate in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination
